Some alphabet stitching and kitty feeding

Sorry, I feel like I've hit a dry spell in blogging. I don't feel like I have too much exciting to post about and not too much to show stitching-wise. I have been working on my Fair and Square exchange for my partner, Carol, and I have finished up my squares, but can't show them yet. I have also finished up my exchange for the What's the Buzz exchange, but can't show that either.... so this is going to be a not very exciting post picture-wise.

However Harmien has gotten me very excited about stitching on my Carriage House Sampling Alphabet, after seeing her progress on hers on her blog: XStitch.nl. So I dug mine out of its bag, with a few litttle moths flying out with it. Darn, I realized before I could start in with the fun stuff, I had to outline a few more alphabet blocks, so it was back to 3371 for me!

The kids are back from Zoo Camp, where they had a fantastic time! Here are a couple of pictures they brought back. The first is Nick feeding Mama Tiger a little snack:

Wendy,

The pictures of the kids are great! You can really see that they were enjoying themselves.

Good progress on your CHS Alphabet. I know all about 3371. It's used a ton in the PS Barnyard Christmas designs that I'm stitching for the wreath.

Loved the Zoo camp pictures, they do look like they had a good time, and the tigers were gorgeous.

Good luck on the Alphabet sampler. It is such a lovely piece, the borders would take a lot of patience though.

I've been having trouble finding things to post lately too; ended up just taking a break from blogging. Now that all the exchanges are arriving at their destinations I have more to post!

Your Alphabet piece is wonderful. I'm glad it's you doing all that outlining though!
Zoo camp - how cool is that!! I've never heard of one. Is this associated with the Toronto Zoo?
The pics are really good.

Wendy, Can't wait to see your Fair & Squares!! Now you have me very curious! I think your Alpabet is coming along beautifully. But, I know exactly what you mean about those borders. Just stitch some fun stuff to ignore them!:)
Your children are beautiful!

Oh, what an exciting time your kids had at Zoo camp! I bet Pelle would have loved to join them, although he might have been mistaken for tiger fodder.
Love your alphabet blocks. I swear, one more blogger working on this one, and I think I might have to join you.

This is such a great alphabet Wendy. I can understand how you get a bit tired of 3371 but the borders sure add to the piece.

Your kids look like they are having a wonderful time with the kitties.
