My Valentine's Exchange for the SBEBB that it. Poor Chris had to wait 9 long weeks to receive this parcel. In fact we had come to the conclusion that it was lost so I spent last week stitching another piece to send to her. So of course as things go, I finished it off Sunday morning and received her e-mail yesterday that the real package had finally arrived. I can show a picture finally.
This was a freebie design from Elizabeth's Designs and I finished into my very first tin topper. I was so pleased with how it had come out. I don't know why I hesitated on trying one of these.
And here is picture of some of the goodies that went with it.
Of course Valentine's Day was so long ago now, c'est la vie!
Thanks for stopping by on this rainy spring day!

Phew for you both that this beauty finally turned up.. it would have been such a shame if it hadn't. It is a lovely job on your first tin and the design is just right too :-))
Our rain has stopped here in England but we are having very high winds, lets hope my gates hang on for another session LOL
lovely exchange! glad it finally showed up :) you did a grand job on your first tin topper!
What a great exchange!
Wendy,
It's a shame that it didn't get there in time for Valentine's Day. It is lovely and your first tin finish is super!
It turned out beautifully, you did a great job on finishing it. How frustrating that it took so long to get there. Sometimes the mail system works so well and other times you really wonder where they have been hiding something it takes so long. Your WIP's of Love and Stitcher's prayer are looking lovely too, and the colors you picked for your Quaker RR are wonderful.

A wonderful exchange, you must be relieved that it showed up...where in the world has it been all this time???
It's a beautiful job finishing! I'm so glad it finally got there.
Very beautiful, Wendy - glad it finally arrived!
What a lovely Valentine exchange Wendy. You did an amazing job on your first tin. So glad it finally arrived.
Love that Quaker friendship sampler. What a wonderful RR. You have picked lovely fabric and colors.
Thanks for the pictures and information about Whitby. It must be a wonderful place to live. I love Southern Ontario. Growing up in Fort William (Thunder Bay) we spent many vacations 'down east' in Galt. To someone from Northern Ontario it felt like visiting an exotic part of the world.
What a beautiful exchange for Chris! I adore Elizabeth's Designs, and cannot believe I missed out on that freebie. I am going to have to track that one down, if I can :-)
glad it finally showed up :) it's a lovely exchange!!
It's lovely. I like her designs. What a relief that your exchange was received.
Very pretty tin finish.
Lovely job Wendy, the mail sure has been the pits lately. Two parcels I was supposed to receive are MIA
Bella caja muy hermosa. felicidades wendy
