Some more progress...and if you look really closely, you can see the outline of doors and windows in my little house. I didn't have much time to stitch over the past couple of days, as we still have more Christmas visits to get in with family, and friends, before one friends heads back to Edmonton for work for the next few months.
And more dull dreary weather, but with rain! Our weather has been so strange, we have hit a record high already today with temperatures that are going into the 10's C. With rain forecast for the next few days, they are predicting that all our snow will soon be gone. And this is January???
But I am happy dancing in spite of no finishes for me, because....the kids are back in school today! And they both got up without any prompting...I guess that warning last night did some good. But I wonder how long it will last.....

I love the HofNW it is looking GREAT!!!
Wendy wow that is gorgeous and I just love it.
Hugs xxxxx
Our kids went back to school/daycare today, too, but they sure didn't wake up unprompted! LOL! I had to dress the two younger ones entirely, and was wondering if our 9 year old was going to make it on his own or not. LOL!!
My kids were not happy about school starting, apparently they thought it was permanent LOL! Your WIP looks awesome :D
Your are making super progress on this one ;)
Looking great Wendy!
Hi Wendy, Happy New Year!!!
I'm slowly working my way through the bloggerverse, catching up on my commenting. My problem is that I "talk" too much when I comment, and don't know when to shut up. So I only make a few comments a night. You've been warned!
Thank you for dropping by and visiting my blog. Lovely to hear from you. I've actually been following your blog for a while now, but I don't think that I've ever left a comment before...shame on me! There seems to be quite a contingent of us Ontario stitcher's here, doesn't there?
I love your colour choice for the heading of "Home of a Needleworker". I can make out the variegation in the thread even in the photograph. It's subtle, but its visible. This is going to be a nice addition to your WIPES.
It's hard to believe that the holiday season is over and we're all back to work/school/the olde routines. You've got your decorations put away (well done!) but we've still got ours up. I'm not looking forward to that little chore this coming weekend at all.
Can you believe the weather we're having today? Positively balmy. I only had one sweat shirt on under my winter coat today, instead of two.
Well, I'd best end this before it goes into another chapter...once again thanks for visiting my blog Wendy. It was lovely hearing from you.
Cheers.
Hi Wendy - dull and dreary here too. You are off to a great start with Home of a Needleworker! This was one of my favorite finishes last year!
Nice progress Wendy!!
Looks like good progress to me :)
Hi Wendy,
You're making good progress on your LHN piece. I've always loved that one.
Nice work on Home of Needleworker Wendy. I am looking forward to going home on Thursday and much appreciate the warmer weather. May it stay until Feb 1st when we get back to AZ LOL
Hi Wendy. Your HofNW is going great guns.Looks good!
Did your kids get away with the bad weather we are having...Fog. yucky.
Hello Wendy,
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment! I visited your blog a couple of days ago, but couldn't react because my keyboard didn't work properly. I have a new one now, so finally ... I can tell you that I like your blog very much and that you make beautiful things! Good luck with your pretty house!
Greetings, Carolien
Love your progress on this one!
Nice progress on your project!! It really is nice when the students are back to classes & we all get into a 'normal' routine.
Great new start!
