Still no PL fabric in the mail for me....although I have been diligently checking every day! That is when I can get my mail box open. Winter seems to think its time to arrive and we have been hit with ice storms and snow....brrrr! It seems awfully early to look outside and see so much white, and have to bundle up with boots, scarf, gloves and hat to go out! Of course Nick is loving it as that means money to be made shovelling snow from driveways for him and of course snowboarding season has opened.

Not much stitching to show from me except a Prairie Schooler piece I have been working on a piece of Fiddler's cloth. Its from Christmas Samplers Book 63 and I'm hoping to be able to stitch it before Christmas. Stitching is slow these days as my shoulder has been troubling me a lot. I finally gave in and and saw my doctor and have started seeing a physiotherapist for a 'frozen shoulder'. I'm sure its from work, nah, couldn't be from stitching or quilting at all! But unfortunately I can't stop working .... :-(

Lovely wip, Wendy! I'm sorry about that frozen shoulder. I'm the same as you: pain strikes but it definitely cannot be due to stitching or quilting (ooooh, gorgeous quilt!!!).
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Lili
Wendy, I hope your shoulder feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteLove the cookie jars!
I do hope your PL fabric arrives soon - we need all the PL stitchers we can get, and also I was really loving your colour combination so I'm keen to see more. Fingers crossed your postie arrives soon (I remember regularly and roundly cursing Canada Post in my youth, I see it hasn't gotten any better ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about Christmas - can't believe it's already December!?! I've done plenty of Christmas stitching this year, although not much for myself LOL!
Hope your shoulder improves very soon.
I was just thinking today how much I dislike putting on boots every time I have to go out! I'm starting to decorate a bit at a time. I have all my snowmen out now.
ReplyDeleteHope your shoulder is pain free soon. You definitely don't want it to cut in on your stitching time!
Your PS wip is looking great!

ReplyDeleteMy sympathies about your shoulder .. I have a bad left shoulder (impingment) and have physical therapy and massage therapy done for it .. not fun at all .. but it does help! Good luck :)
Oh no! Hope your shoulder gets better soon, it definately sounds work-related, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteIt always seems like the mail takes longer when I'm waiting for something to arrive! Hope your fabric gets there soon, but LOVE that PS wip!!!

Take care of that shoulder...A break from work yes from stitching no....I'm sure it's theraputic.
ReplyDeleteYou will have to work on PL for days to catch up. I'm jealous I love stitching on it and 6 days in a row would be fun.!
PS is a great piece that you are doing! Very pretty.
Take care of that shoulder. Yes, December is here ... and your PS WIP is awesome. Hope you get it all stitched up in time : )
ReplyDeleteDear Wendy, I'm very concerned about your frozen shoulder! We need to talk! Please don't over-do this holiday season, it's not worth it. I'm sure your stitching had nothing to do with it, but carrying or lifting heavy things might! Sending many prayers and wishes for healing your way, Deb
