Sunflower House

I missed getting a picture of my Sunflower House last week, but now here it is, with a little more to see. I finished up the house and 3 of the sunflowers. This seems to be working up quickly!
Be sure to visit Yuko's blog to see her Sunflower House too! Her pictures are much much prettier to see than mine!

I am stitching this too! I love this one, don’t you? Yours looks beautiful. I like the darker blue linen you are using, mine is much lighter. You are making good progress on it.

I love the fabric color you're using for this! It really looks sharp with the yellows in the design.

Hi Wendy!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I have enjoyed visiting your blog. I love the Sunflower House! Somehow I managed to miss this one. I love Blackbird Designs! I made "Happy Birthday" for my mother-in-law's 80th birthday.
Well tomorrow is another weekend. Hope I have good luck at the garage sales!

Hi Wendy,

I like the way the skirt turned
out on your Sisterhood piece. It
sort of looks either tie dyed or
patchwork. So your lady has a
bit of a gypsy look about her. I'm
glad you're keeping her like that.

Your Sunflower House is looking
great. Very bright and cheery.
Do you find it hard to stitch on
a darker colour of fabric??

And Sarah's ABC pincushion is
very sweet, and I love how you've
co-ordinated the materials that
you're using, and even the thread
holder.

You got some lovely stash there
too. I would especially like to
see that Prairie Schooler Santa
stitched up. It'll be fabulous!

Hope you're having a great
weekend. Kind of hot here today
but now it's raining and maybe
cooling off a bit. Still have
the air on for sleeping though.

Cheers
